QuickBooks Consulting and Training
- Set-Up and Installation—customizing QuickBooks for the way your business operates is the key to obtaining good financial information from QuickBooks and operating efficiently and effectively
- QuickBooks Training—if you or your employees need training in QuickBooks, we can provide customized training to meet your needs along with a training guide for additional self-study. Michelle conduct’s QuickBooks seminars throughout the Kansas City area and remotely when requested.
- Trouble Shooting—if you need help fixing QuickBooks, correcting mistakes, or figuring out what is wrong, MLC can help solve your problems
Remote Assistance
- QuickBooks Quick Answers—For those quick questions of ‘How Do I do this?’ or ‘How can I correct/fix this’
- E-mail your quick question or problem and receive a reply for only $25 (paid via PayPal to longmi@umkc.edu) per question Payment must be received before an answer will be provided.
- Guaranteed an answer or your money will be refunded.
- In the event that your question is more complex and requires an analysis of the data file, you will be notified and given the option to upgrade to the ‘In-Depth’ question (and pay the additional fee) or receive a refund.
- QuickBooks In-Depth Questions—For questions that are more complex or in depth that require analysis of the data file, the fee begins at $40 per question (paid via PayPal to longmi@umkc.edu).
- E-mail a portable or back up of your data file (or use yousendit.com or similar service) for analysis. If there is a password, you should email that separately. Your confidentiality is always assured.
- Guaranteed an answer or your money will be refunded.
- In the event that your question/problem is even more complex, you’ll be given the option to upgrade to the ‘Remote Assistance’ option (and pay the additional fee) or receive a refund.
- QuickBooks Remote Assistance or Training—For complex problems, issues or training, you can choose the remote assistance option. A time will be scheduled for a phone consultation and remote access session to address your situation for a minimum of $65 for the first half-hour (paid via PayPal to longmi@umkc.edu prior to scheduling an appointment) and $30 per quarter hour thereafter.
New Company Data File Set-Up
- QuickBooks is easy to use provided it is set up properly! Ensure that you get started off right and avoid costly problems later! You’ll get a customized data file, created from information you provide about your business, to get you started on the right track!
- Customized chart of accounts for your type of business
- One customer and vendor set up with a custom data field (as appropriate) to serve as a guide for setting up others
- Up to 5 items set up (services, inventory, non-inventory, other charges, or sales tax item) to serve as guides for setting up others.
- Fee is variable depending on your type of business--call for a quote
